Lois E. Bressler, 83, of Lewisburg, passed away on Monday morning, Sept. 19, 2016, at The Gate House at Divine Providence Hospital, Williamsport.
She was born Dec. 17, 1932, in Middleburg, a daughter of the late Ira A. and Lida M. (Kamble) Walter. She was married to Robert E. Bressler who preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 2002.
Lois was a graduate of Middleburg High School.
She had been employed at Champ Hats, Sunbury and retired from the Selinsgrove Center where she worked as a residential aide.
She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, Middleburg.
Lois enjoyed puzzles, watching QVC, and will be remembered as a great baker.
She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Sharon E. and Scott Bailey, of Shamokin Dam, and Denise E. Bressler, of Lewisburg; one son, Keith E. Bressler, of Blue Bell; two grandchildren, Sara and Andrew Bailey; and one brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Owen and Paula Walter, of York.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Norma Fetterolf.
Friends and family will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg, followed by the funeral at 3, with Pastor Bob Klingerman officiating.
Burial will be in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Middleburg.
