Logan Dale Mengle's journey began on Aug. 27, 1989, in Mount Pleasant Mills, Pa., a son of the late Vicki and Bob DeWitt, of Jackson, Miss., and survived by his father, Dale L. Lau, of Middleburg, Pa.
He also leaves behind his sister and brother-in-law, Ashley Lau-Romero and Joshua Romero, of Shamokin Dam, Pa.; his brother, Dale Lau II, of Middleburg; his fiancé, Amber Griffin, of Madison, Miss.; his paternal grandmother, Harriet Dalton, of Penns Creek, Pa.; his maternal grandmother, Faye Mengle; his niece and nephew, Aleyah Romero and Xavur Thorne; his cousin, Ashley Longacre, of Northumberland, Pa.; as well as many more cousins, aunts, and uncles.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Glen Mengle.
He met the love of his life, Amber in 2005, and they shared a beautiful relationship together for 11 years. He loved his cousin, Ashley like a sister. He had many friends who loved him in Pennsylvania and in Mississippi, some went by the name, "The Twin Harbor Crew". He enjoyed spending time with Amber and his friends. He loved to laugh, cook, be outdoors, do yard work, travel to new places and go on adventures. He loved his two dogs like they were his babies.
Logan went to be with Jesus on June 25, 2016.
Services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg.
