Linda C. Kipple, 66, formerly of Sunbury, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, at Kramm Nursing Home, Milton.
She was born Nov. 8, 1949, a daughter of the late Francis C. and Ada C. (Smith) Heller.
Linda retired from Mary McIntosh and later at Dempsey. After retiring she was a grandmother at Beck School in Sunbury for five years.
She was a member of the Sunbury Eagles where she played darts on the dart team, a member of the Mifflinburg Moose and the Point Township Fire Company, Northumberland.
Linda enjoyed watching wrestling on TV and the Green Bay Packers.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey and Darlene Hagenbuch, Craig and Heather White, and Charles Kipple and companion, Angela Campbell; one daughter, Chrystal Weaver; five grandchildren, Brandon and Nathan Hagenbuch, Conlan, Owen and Elizabeth White; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Robert Heller and Kenneth and Sharon Heller, all of Sunbury, and Gary and Donna Heller, of Marion, Ill.; five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Margaret and Clifford Smith, of Mechanisburg, Shirley Bower and Shelia Arnold, both of Sunbury, Debra and Elmer Danley, of Northumberland, and Darlene Mowery, of Shamokin Dam; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Elwood Heller; and three sisters, Bernice "Judy" Brown, Patricia Sokolsky, and Louise Bickle.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, followed by a time of sharing at 8.
Interment will take place at a later date in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make donations to the funeral home to help defray funeral costs.
