Linda M. Coffin, 67, of Muncy, passed into eternal rest on Monday, July 11, 2016, at the Milton Health and Rehab Center where she had resided the past 2½ months.

She was born Nov. 9, 1948, in Anthony Township, Montour County, a daughter of the late Charles W. and Dorothy B. Mingle. She was married to Larry B. Coffin who preceded her in death on Sept. 1, 2011.

Linda was a 1967 graduate of Warrior Run High School, Turbotville and retired from the Kramm's Healthcare, Milton where she had worked for 28 years.

She was a member of White Hall Baptist Church for many years.

Surviving are her children, Shannon Mort (Randy), of Milton, and Jamie McElwee, of Muncy; stepchildren, Larry Coffin, Jr. (Stacy), of Cogan Station, Cory (Sis), of Muncy, Lisa Doane (Michael), of Montgomery, Lori Reynolds (Jason), of Muncy, and Sherry and Tess; 24 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Wayne (Nancy) Mingle, of Muncy; Fred (Lucille) Mingle, of Hughesville; Gary (Ruthann) Mingle, and Ron (Stephanie) Mingle, all of Muncy; and three sisters, Jean (Bill) Curry, of Stuart, Va., Joyce Vargo, of Muncy, and Donna (Bruce) Wehler, of Montoursville; and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by one son, Yancy Mort; one brother, Robert C. Mingle; and four sisters, Ginny Richards, Faye Boyles, Betty Dommel, and Patty Shuck.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc, PC, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville, followed by a memorial service to honor Linda's memory at 11, with her pastor, the Rev. Robert Ayars officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.

The family will provide the flowers and suggest contributions in Linda's memory be made to White Hall Baptist Church, 945 White Hall Road, Danville, PA 17821.
