Laura E. Hornberger, 82, of 20 Sheridan St., Coal Township, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born June 23, 1934, in West Cameron Township, a daughter of the late Lloyd J. and Marion G. (Crawford) Feese. On June 19, 1953, she married Robert A. Hornberger who preceded her in death on July 1, 1970.
Laura was a 1952 graduate of Trevorton High School.
She lived most of her life in West Cameron Township and was a home maker.
She attended St. Peter's Lutheran Church and Bethel Union Chapel, both of West Cameron Township. She taught Sunday and Bible school for several years, and was a craft teacher for the Good News Club.
Laura loved being with her family and supporting her children and grandchildren
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert A. and Nancy Hornberger, of West Cameron Township; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debra A. and Ronald McIntyre and Kathy J. and Gary Rothermel, all of East Cameron Township, and Jodi L. and Andy Anderson, of Manchester, Md.; eight grandchildren, Erin, Joel, Justin, Jeremy, Nathan, Alex, Austin, and Anthony; and six great-grandchildren, Keefer, Crawford, Blake, Logan, Lilly, and Julia.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Feese.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 1, at Bethel Union Chapel, 3449 Upper Road, Shamokin, followed by a memorial service at 11, with Pastor Dave Butler officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Laura's memory to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1910 Upper Road, Shamokin, PA 17872, or to Bethel Union Chapel, 3449 Upper Road, Shamokin, PA 17872.
Funeral arrangements are by the Robert G. Foust Jr. Funeral Home, 841 W. Shamokin St., Trevorton.
