Larry R. Swartz, 71, of Sodom Road, Milton, passed away on September 4, 2017, at his home.
He was born Sept. 28, 1945, in Millmont, a son of the late Robert Sr. and Anna (Swartz) Hulsizer.
On May 29, 1966, he married the former Janet K. Hockenbrock who survives.
Larry attended Milton schools and served in the Army from 1965-1967.
He retired from WalMart in 2012.
He was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Milton, president of the Twin County Midget Baseball League for more than 30 years.
Larry liked raising pigeons, fishing, working on cars, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a fan of Jeff Gordon and Notre Dame.
He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Peg and Bill Linn, of Milton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Marvin Van Derwerker, of Mifflinburg, and Kathy and Randy Dock, of New Berlin; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Angela Swartz, of Watsontown, and Jason and Tonia Swartz, of Milton; 11 grandchildren, Brandon, Trisha, Dylan, Alexandrya, Derek, Brittany, Carisa, Zachzry, KateLyn, Jade, and Tre; and seven great-grandchildren, Zayne, Ian, Kaia, Emelia, Alexander, Lailyn, and Laci.
Larry was preceded in death by five brothers, Robert Jr., Ken, Charles, Gary, and Ricky Hulsizer; and one sister, Mary Stewart.
Following Larry's wishes, there will be no services.
