Larry Faux, 62, of Danville, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Grandview Nursing Home.
He was born Nov. 6, 1953, in Sunbury, a son of Herbert and the late Betty (Weaver) Faux.
He graduated from Columbia-Montour VoTech School in 1972 and worked as a welder and in construction for most of his life.
Larry was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed his many furry friends, Bo 1, Bo 2, and his beloved Lab, Jesse James.
He is survived by his father, Herbert; one sister, Nancy and husband Gary; and one nephew, Christopher and wife Angela and daughter Brooklyn.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Betty (Weaver) Faux.
Larry will be missed by his many cousins and numerous friends. The family wishes to extend their sincerest thanks to the doctors and nurses in Oncology at GMC Danville, and the staff of Grandview Nursing Home, for their excellent care during Larry's illness.
Services for Larry will be at the convenience of the family.
