Keith R. Landis, 61, of Sassafras Street, Beavertown, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born May 30, 1955, in Lewistown, a son of Ronald L. and Marjorie (Zechman) Landis, of Beavertown.
Keith was a graduate of West Snyder High School and was the salutatorian of his class. After high school he attended the University of Maryland studying criminology.
He was a member of Beavertown United Methodist Church and loved the Lord very much.
Keith enjoyed playing tennis and was an avid reader. He was especially fond of his cat "Fudge", loved horse racing, and was a very giving person.
Surviving in addition to his parents are several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kim Landis; maternal grandparents, Thelda Feehrer and Walter Zechman Sr.; and his paternal grandparents, Charles and Ruth Landis.
A time of visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Beavertown United Methodist Church, followed by a memorial service at 11 with the Rev. Jim Jacobs and the Rev. Kathy Mercado officiating.
Graveside services will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Beavertown.
Arrangements are by the Pheasant Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St., Beavertown.
