Harold E. "Red" Faux Jr., 81, of Sunbury, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017, at the Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born March 15, 1936, in Danville, a son of the late Harold and Grace (Snyder) Faux. He was married to the former Jean Duff who preceded him in death in 2005.
Red was a 1954 graduate of Danville High School and had served for eight years in the Air Force.
He was a retired over-the-road truck driver for various local companies.
He was a life member of the North American Fishing Club and the Handyman Club of America.
Red was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Robert Gulick; one son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Angie Faux; three grandchildren, Kyle, Jordan and Devon. Harold was also blessed with two lovely sisters, Goldie Swanger and Ruth Haas; and by numerous nieces and nephews; he is also survived by his life partner, Carol Boysel, with whom he made his home.
At Red's request there will be no funeral service.
Arrangements are by the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
