Gregory Michael Haladay, 34, of Cameltown Hill Road, Danville, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at his residence.
He was born May 17, 1983, in Danville, a son of Edward and Joann (Young) Haladay.
Greg graduated from Danville High School in 2001 and continued his education at Wilkes University. He received his bachelor's degree in business administration.
He was employed by Vintage Tub and Bath for nine years. During his employment, he traveled the world and enjoyed life abroad. He visited countries like China, India, Italy, Turkey, and countless others. He collected many souvenirs and gifts to share with his family. In his most recent years, he helped manage the family business, The Muffin Man.
Greg loved watching Penn State football and going to New York Yankee games. He also enjoyed taking long walks at the Montour Preserve enjoying the beauty, peace and serenity of the lake.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Andrea Lowe and her husband Steve, of Danville; and one brother, Matthew Haladay and his wife, Elizabeth of Richmond, Va. He was a beloved uncle to his six nieces and nephews, Jillian, Chase, Isabella, Samuel, Keira, and Natalie. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Margaret Haladay, of Danville; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Mary Young; and his maternal grandfather, Edward Haladay Sr.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Brady Funeral Home, 320 Church St., Danville, followed by the funeral at 11, with the Rev. James Lease officiating.
The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions in Greg's memory may be made to the Montour Area Recreation Commission-Montour Preserve Fund or the CMSU Service System.
