Grace's Story

Grace Pauline (Fisher) Fegley, 86, of Hummelstown, passed away at her home on Monday, April 17, 2017.
She was born Feb. 24, 1931, at home in New Columbia, and was the second of 10 children to the late Ralph and Winifred (Huff) Fisher.

Grace was a graduate of Milton Area High School.
In 1950, she married Robert Fegley and they made their home at several places around Harrisburg and had also spent 23 years in Hatboro. They were married 63 years.
During her lifetime, Grace worked in a garment factory, in retail for Grant's Department Store, and in a book bindery.
Grace was a proud, independent woman. She was also a great gardener, cook, and seamstress.

She is survived by five sisters, Ruth, Beatrice, Beryl, Carol, and Kay, and three brothers, Robert, Jim, and Nelson, and their families, all of the surrounding New Columbia/Milton area. Grace leaves behind a daughter, Linda, son-in-law, Jim, and three grandchildren who will miss her very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, and sister, Nancy, of Danville.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Church Hill Cemetery, Kelly Township, Union County, with Pastor David McCarty officiating.
