Emma L. Harling, 47, of Mount Pleasant Mills, entered into rest on Friday, June 23, 2017, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born July 7, 1969, in Sunbury, a daughter of Joanne Cora (Longacre) Schrader, of Richfield and the late James Robert Schrader Sr. She was married to Craig A. Harling, who survives. The couple were married for 10 years.
Emma was currently employed at Custom Building Systems, Middleburg and was previously employed at Excel Homes, Liverpool for 20 years.
She loved flowers and enjoyed camping and kayaking. Emma especially loved spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband and mother, Emma is survived by three children, Brandi Eshelman and husband Joseph, of Richfield, Emily Harling and Craig Harling Jr., both at home; one grandson, Jasper Eshelman; five brothers and sisters and their spouses, James and Karen Schrader Jr., of Selinsgrove, Steven Schrader, of Millerstown, Rosetta Shellenberger, of Huntington, Michael and Anita Schrader, of Millerstown, and Patricia and Daniel Yetter, of Liverpool; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and her mother-in-law, Paula "Fern" Harling, of Mifflin.
Emma was preceded in death by her brother, Chester Schrader, a brother in infancy, and her father-in-law, Walter "Butch" Harling.
Friends and family are invited to the visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, followed by the funeral at 11, at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mount Pleasant Mills, with Pastor Curtis Kantz officiating.
Burial will be in Dressler's Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Mills.
