Dorothy C. Peifer, 96, of Dalmatia, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at the Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg.
She was born March 26, 1921, in Shamokin, a daughter of the late Mary E. and John D. Derk. On Nov. 22, 1941, she married John Peifer who preceded her in death.
Dorothy was employed at Dalmatia Blouse and later retiring from HerCo in Hershey.
She was a member of Zion Stone Valley Church and the Ladies Aide, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary of the Alvin E Long Post, Madata.
Dorothy is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Dean Paul, of Dalmatia, and Rose Mary and Larry Trumble, of Newton, Kan.; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Zion Stone Valley Church, Dalmatia.
Interment will take place privately in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
