Donna Kay (Jamison) Heimbach, 75, of Kissimmee, Fla., went to join her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at her home.

She was born May 28, 1941, in Portsmouth, Ohio, the oldest child of the late Donald Edward and Virginia Katherine (Lewis) Jamison.

Donna was a 1959 graduate of Glenwood High School, New Boston, Ohio and married Paul Joseph Heimbach who was in the Air Force. They began their marriage on a three-year assignment in Germany, including visits to Ireland, France, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Greece and Turkey.

Donna worked in a wide variety of professions including dental and orthodontic chair side assistant and was an office manager in various venues including a land development firm and architectural services firm. She retired in 2003 as the executive secretary for the director of the east region of National Industries for the Severely Handicapped (NISH).

Donna was a devoted mother of two boys, Phillip and Tom. She cared for her sons in a loving way, sometimes on her own while Paul served in the Air Force overseas. She also enjoyed serving God in church youth ministries and choirs.

As a summertime resident of McClure, Pa., for ten years, Donna made many friends in Union and Snyder Counties.

She is survived by her husband, Paul; her son, Thomas D. Heimbach and daughter-in-law, Amy M. Blum Heimbach, both of Centreville, Va.; her sister, Penny sue Jamison Fink, of Tallahassee, Fla.; and two granddaughters, Abigail M. Heimbach and Allison E. Heimbach, of Centreville, Va.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Billy Jo Jamison Johnson, of Tallahassee; and her oldest son, Paul Philip Heimbach.

Friends and family will be received from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Pleasant Mills Christian Union Church, followed by the funeral at 2, with her nephew, the Rev. Gary Wayne Heimbach and the Rev. Daryl Kuhns, officiating.

Interment will be in Mifflinburg Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Mount Pleasant Mills Christian Union Church Children's Ministry, 5230 Route 104, Mount Pleasant Mills.

Funeral arrangements are by the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St. Middleburg.
