Donna Marie Fisher, 67, of Allenwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, May 29, 2017, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born July 7, 1967, in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Ruth J. (Hower) Voris and Donald L. Weaver. Donna was married on May 5, 1997, to Robert D. Fisher who survives.
Donna was a 1967 graduate of South Williamsport High School.
She retired from the West Company in Montgomery in 1996. Along with her husband, Robert, she owned and operated the Willow Lake Campground in New Columbia for 17 years, as well as Willow Lake Ceramics and Willow lake Excavating in Allenwood.
She was a member of the No Hat Group of Allenwood.
Donna enjoyed various crafts, ceramics, rock painting, and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Stephanie Brewer, Darrell Reish, and Tammy Caswell; two brothers, Stephen Beard and Donald Weaver; two stepchildren, Bobbette Ramer and John E. Fisher; five grandchildren, Megan, James, Noah, Jonathan, and Christina; and two great-grandchildren, Luke and Madelyn; and lots of loving in-laws, stepgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, a host of long-time friends, and her faithful dog, Abbie.
Donna was preceded in death her parents, Ruth and Donald, and an older sister, Margaret Greene
Friends and relatives will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of BP 8 and SCU 5 at Geisinger Medical Center for their compassion and care of Donna during her final days.
