David A. Herrold, 49, of Paxinos, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born Sept. 19, 1966, in Berwick, a son of the late Alfred P. Herrold and the late Marian (Noss) Guisewite. He was married to the former Debra A. Brown who survives.
David attended Berwick High School and worked as a delivery driver for Reinhart Food Service in Shamokin.
David enjoyed riding motorcycles, primitive camping, going to carnivals and fairs, going on trips especially to the Christmas Village and the Wolf Sanctuary in Lancaster. But mostly David enjoyed spending time with his wife, his family, his friends and his dogs.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Tanara and Rico Pacheco, of Bloomsburg; three brothers, Charles Herrold, of Shamokin, Thomas Herrold, of Mount Carmel, and Christopher Herrold, of Shamokin; three half brothers, Alfred Herrold Jr., and Ricky Herrold, both of Georgia, and Clinton Herrold, of Berwick; his mother-in-law, Ruth Strassner, of Lewisburg; one stepson, Jesse Brown, of Dewart; two stepbrothers, Warren and Clint Sholley, of Georgia; one stepsister, Betty Sholley, of Georgia; and two grandchildren, Zachary Rager and Storm Brown.
David was preceded in death by one stepson, Jamie Brown.
Friends and relatives will be received from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton, followed by the funeral at noon with the Rev. Roy Kifer officiating.
Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Milton.
