Dale H. Beaver Jr., 58, of Water Street, Selinsgrove, passed away at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Monday, Aug, 29, 2016, after a short battle with cancer.
He was born Oct. 31, 1957, in Sunbury, a son of Dale Sr. and Nancy (Wagner) Beaver, of Selinsgrove.
Dale was a 1976 graduate of Selinsgrove High School.
He previously worked construction and most recently in the parts department at Truck and Trailer Sales, Selinsgrove.
He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Selinsgrove.
Dale was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time at his camp with his family and friends in Tioga County. He loved the outdoors and supported his family in all their activities, including horse shows, football games, pedal pulls, trout derbys and many more. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He was known for his sense of humor and witty comebacks which stayed with him even when his health was failing. Surviving in addition to his parents are one daughter, April Diane Beaver and companion, Michael Walz; grandsons, Kole and Riley Heimbach; sister and brother-in-law, Julia and John Clark; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Carlyn Beaver, all of Selinsgrove; niece, Amanda Watt; nephews, Cory and Michael Clark, Nathen and Bradley Beaver; seven great-nephews and two great-nieces.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Selinsgrove, followed by a memorial service at 6 with the Rev. Rick White officiating.
Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
Arrangements are by the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove.
