Corinna S. Englehardt, 46, of 102 Sauers Dr., New Berlin, passed away on Tuesday evening, July 4, 2017, at her home after a courageous 4 1/2 year battle with cancer.
She was born March 9, 1971, in Corning, N.Y., a daughter of Robert L. Sprenkle, of Middleburg, and the late Loretta M. (Bowersox) Sprenkle. On May 20, 2000, she married Rodney W. Englehardt who survives.
Corinna was a 1989 graduate of Middleburg High School and a 1993 graduate of Mansfield University. After graduating from Mansfield she had done subsitute teaching after which she was employed by Hallmark Feeds, Mifflinburg, Dental Health Associates, New Berlin, and lastly at Dr. Linn's dental practice in Williamsport.
She was a member of the Port Ann Wesleyan Church where she was very active in the children's ministry. She was also a member of the Union County West End Fire Company and Ambulance Association.
Corinna's passion was her family and God.
Surviving in addition to her father and husband of 17 years are one son, Rodney W. Englehardt Jr., at home; one brother, Wade Sprenkle and his companion Paula, of Middleburg; her grandmother, Neida Keister, of Middleburg; her mother-in-law, Linda Englehardt, of Mifflinburg, and her step mother-in-law, Joyce Englehardt, of New Columbia.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Harold Bowersox and John and Betty Sprenkle.
A service celebrating Corinna's life will be held Saturday, Aug. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Northumberland Christian School, 351 Fifth St., Northumberland.
Contributions to honor her memory may be made to the Northumberland Christian School.
Arrangements are by the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg.
