Connie Jean Kratzer, 72, of Watsontown, formerly of Steelton, went to her heavenly home at 11:45 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2016, after many years of ill health.
She was born Oct. 11, 1943, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Neil Rettinger and Jean (Mercer) Bolig.
Connie attended Selinsgrove High School.
She was retired from the Patriot News, Harrisburg where she was a sales representative.
Connie enjoyed crocheting and was an avid reader but the greatest joy in her life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Steven A. and Jennifer Kratzer, of Selinsgrove; three daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda J. and Floyd Ettinger, of Middleburg, Caroline J. and Roger Bowersox, of Mount Pleasant Mills, and Brenda L. Kratzer and Kim Garman, of Sunbury; nine grandchildren, Michael Shaffer and companion, Phyllis Mowery, Nicole Ettinger, Kayla Ettinger and Corey Miller, Jody Bowersox, Roger Bowersox, Nicholas Garman, Joshua Garman, Breana Kratzer and Alyssa Kratzer; two great-grandchildren, Bo Walter and Aliyah Mercado; and the father of her children, Doyle Kratzer Jr.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Rettinger; and one sister, Pamela Clouse.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg.
