Claudette Beadeaux Jobson, 79, formerly from Winter Springs, Fla., passed away on May 18, 2017, at Highview in the Woodlands, Rockton, Ill.
She was born June 17, 1937, in Bradford, Pa., a daughter of the late Claude and Arlene Beadeaux, and stepfather, Dr. Houtz.
Claudette graduated from Selinsgrove High School and continued her education at Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania.
She later moved to Virginia where she worked for the CIA and met the love of her life, James "Bob" Jobson. They were married and settled in Winter Springs where they spent 43 happy years together.
Claudette loved to play Bridge. She was a member of the Metropolitan Bridge Center in Orlando, Fla. There she earned her Life Master. She traveled to many Bridge tournaments over the years. She enjoyed music, old movies, her Jeopardy calendar and CNN. Claudette had many special friends including her lifelong friend, Dianne Sheaffer of Selinsgrove, and special friend/daughter-in-law, Deby Graupner (Gary), of Rockton.
She is survived by her step-sons, Jim (Patty) Jobson, and John (Sherry) Jobson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James, and her stepdaughter, Cathy Northrop.
A special word of thanks to Northern Illinois Hospice and the entire staff at Highview in the Woodlands, for their kind and compassionate care. She loved her CNA's and nurses.
Cremation rites to be accorded, private services at a later date.
