Chester's Story

Chester E. Wagner, 91, of McClure, passed away on Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at ManorCare Health Services, Sunbury.
He was born Nov. 6, 1925, in Milroy, a son of late Florence A. (Wagner) Wagner and Martin L. Wagner. He was married to the former Donna R. Lash who survives.

Chester was a veteran of the Army.
He was a retired construction worker for Hempt Bros.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children and their spouses, Kathy Burdge and her husband, Leslie, of Bloomsburg, Debbie Wagner, of Muncy, Lanny Wagner, of South Dakota, and Jan Wagner, of Chesapeake, Va.; one brother, William Wagner, of Lewistown; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Roy Wagner.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Chester's memory may be made to Lawver's United Methodist Church, R.R. 1, McClure, PA 17841.

Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
