Catherine M. Snyder Hollingsworth, 88, of Williamsport, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017, at UPMC Susquehanna-Williamsport.
She was born Jan. 26, 1929, in Selinsgrove, a daughter of the late Norman L. and Edna M. (Bickhart) Musselman.
Catherine was a 1946 graduate of Selinsgrove High School.
She was employed at the former Hall's Motor Transit for 20 years.
She was a member of Balls Mill United Methodist Church.
Catherine was an avid quilter and enjoyed playing various card games.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, John C. and Diane Snyder, of Williamsport; two daughters and son-in-law, Jane C. Snyder, of Williamsport, and Joan L. and Louie Schneider, of Linden; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James C. Snyder in 1977; her second husband, Robert L. Hollingsworth, in 1990; and one son, James D. Snyder.
A memorial service to honor the life of Catherine will be held 7 p.m. Friday at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport with the Rev. Chris E. Pfleegor officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. prior to the service.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Green Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Catherine's memory may be made to Balls Mills United Methodist Church, 5941 Bloomingrove Road, Cogan Station, PA 17728.
