Bruce D. Bolich, 62, of Broadalbin, N.Y., formerly of Milton, passed away on Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at Albany Medical Center, Albany, N.Y.
He was born June 26, 1954, in Lewisburg, a son of George and Bebe (Wintersteen) Bolich, of Milton.
Bruce was a 1972 graduate of Milton High School and earned an associates degree in computer programming from Williamsport Area Community College. He was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Milton where he was once the director of church music, the director of the bell choir, a youth group advisor, and he taught Sunday school. He was also a member of the Comancheros Junior Drum and Bugle Corps, Milton, the Keystoners Drum and Bugle Corps, Milton, and the Westshoremen Drum and Bugle Corps, Harrisburg.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Christy Bolich, of Virginia; four grandsons, Blaise Bolich, Noah Bolich, Gabriel Bolich and Elijah Bolich, of Virginia; one brother, Brian Bolich, of Milton; one sister, Carol Templin, of Muncy; and his girlfriend of five years, Ann Pullis, of New York.
Bruce was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Bolich.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1125 Mahoning St., Milton, followed by a memorial service at 11. Following the service a luncheon will be served.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Bruce D. Bolich Memorial Fund at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. All proceeds from the memorial fund will be donated to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism in memory of Bruce.
