Alice I. Riegel, 88, of Sunbury, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, at the Geisinger Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 18, 1929, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Harry and Sarah (Conrad) Campbell. She was married to John Riegel who preceded her in death.
Alice was a graduate of Sunbury High School.
She was employed by Westinghouse and Rea & Derrick.
She attended the Augustaville Wesleyan Church.
Alice enjoyed shopping, cleaning, and going out to dinner with her friends, but most of all she loved spending time with her grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren.
Alice is survived by one daughter, Sonja L. Wynn-Rupp and her husband, Paul Sr., of Mifflinburg; two grandchildren, Elisa Koons and husband, Chris, and Shelly Wynn; two great-grandchildren, Colby Wynn and Carissa Koons; two great-great-grandchildrern, Mya and Ava; three brothers, Richard and David Campbell, both of Sunbury and Homer Campbell, of North Carolina; and one sister, Vivian Inch.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Harry; and one sister, Sylvia Shingara.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 11.
Interment will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
