William L. Patton William L. Patton, 77, of 155 Springhouse Drive, Lewisburg, passed away Sunday morning, Nov. 4, 2018, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born Dec. 30, 1940, in Lebanon, a son of the late George and Celia (Boltz) Patton. He was married to the former Sharon Schaeffer and his death breaks a marital union of almost 50 years.

William received his BS in civil engineering from Lafayette College, and served in the Army from 1962-1969 as a Captain.
He was former president of Calcite Quarry in Lebanon, and had worked as quarry manager for Eastern Industries, Allentown.
William was a member of Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewisburg, the VFW in Myerstown, Lions Club, was a Mason, a member of the Elks, JayCees and Stitez Club of Lebanon, the Pennsylvania Aggregate and Concrete Assn (PACA), and enjoyed auto racing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Wendy and Michael Keller of Lebanon County, and Cheryl and Owen Strouse of Mooresville, N.C.; two grandchildren, Bryan and Brandi Keller; five great-grandchildren; and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by his brother, George, earlier this year.

Friends and relatives will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 S. Third St., Lewisburg, followed by the funeral at 10, with his pastor, the Rev. William Henderson officiating.

Burial and graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Cornwall Cemetery, Lebanon.

Funeral arrangements are by the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, Market and Eighth streets, Lewisburg.
