William Allen Fluke, Sr., 85, formerly of 810 Borough Line Road, Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 7:53 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont.
He was born Aug. 2, 1931, in Yellow Creek, a son of the late Chester and Mabel (Laudenslager) Fluke. On May 12, 1956, in Cumberland, Md., he married the former Patricia L. Kelly who preceded him in death on Oct. 27, 2011.

William was a graduate of the R.P. Smith School, Bedford County, and honorably served in the Army.
He was employed as a truck driver at ABF Trucking, Carlisle, for many years, and later worked at the Mifflinburg Bank & Trust Co.
He was a member of Dreisbach United Church of Christ, Lewisburg, and a member of the West End Lion's Club, Millmont, and the Mifflinburg V.F.W. Post 1964.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, William A. Jr. and Pauline M. Fluke, of Mifflinburg, Gary F. and Susan M. Fluke, of Laurelton, and Terry A. and Alison M. Fluke, of Milton; one brother, Richard Fluke, of Hopewell; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and Chester Fluke.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Roupp Funeral Home Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 3, with the Rev. Nathan Druckenmiller officiating.
Military honors will be accorded by the Mifflinburg American Legion Post 410 and area veterans.
