Wayne's Story

Wayne M. Eisenhart, 75, of 1103 Susquehanna Street, Trevorton, passed away Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018 at his residence.

He was born in Ashland on Aug. 27, 1942, a son of the late John H. and Cora M. (Sanner) Eisenhart.

Wayne was married on Feb. 23, 1964, in Trevorton United Methodist Church to the former Diane M. Snyder, who survives.

Wayne was a lifelong resident of Trevorton. He was a truck driver for 42 years, driving long range.

He was a 1961 graduate of Trevorton High School. He was very proud that he was a member of the last undefeated 1961 football/basketball teams that played with the Trevorton Red Devils.

He was a social member of Trevorton American Legion, the Trevorton Senior Action Center, and the Free Wheelers Motorcycle Group.

In addition to his wife, Wayne is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, Rusty and Ralphiel Eisenhart of Dornsife, and Ross and Lori Eisenhart of Herndon; four grandchildren, Lindy, Sadie, Trevor, and Rusty Eisenhart Jr.; two brothers and three sister-in-laws, Carl and Gayle Eisenhart of Goshen, Ohio, John and Deb Eisenhart of Middleburg, and Marlene Snyder of Trevorton; and neices and nephews.

A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, at the Robert G. Foust Jr. Funeral Home, 841 West Shamokin Street, Trevorton, followed by the funeral at 11, with Danny Overkott officiating.

Burial will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park Cemetery, Stonington.
