Vickey L. Snook

Events

Vickey L. (Shope) Snook, 47, of McClure, entered into rest on Friday, July 5, 2019, at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie and George.
She was born Dec. 18, 1971, in Harrisburg, a daughter of Maynard Sr. and Linda (Willi) Shope of Liverpool. She was married to Mark L. Snook who survives.

Vickey was a 1989 graduate of East Juniata High School.
She was employed at the Family Dollar store, Middleburg and formerly employed at the Public Defenders Office, Lewistown.
Vickey enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband and parents, Vickey is survived by two children, Kevin and Chelsea Soder of Maryland and Katelyn Soder of Newport; one stepdaughter, Angela and John Hammock of New Jersey; one grandson, Graycen Soder; one granddaughter, Lia Zinn; three sisters and one brother, Sandy and Aaron Adams, Maynard Jr. and Melanie Shope, Natalie and Cyrus Shunk, and Stephanie and George Moore; nieces and nephews; maternal grandmother, Gladys Willi; and her father-in-law, John D. Snook. Vickey was preceded in death by one brother, Matthew Shope.

Friends and family are invited to the viewing from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes Inc., 606 N. Front St., Liverpool, followed by the funeral at 8, with Pastor William Esborn, Chaplain for Family Hospice UPMC, officiating.
Burial will be private at the discretion of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in loving memory of Vickey to the American Cancer Society, 1375 Martin St., Suite 206, State College, PA 16803.

Vickey was a strong caring woman who fought to the end. She will be sorely missed by family and friends. Rest in Peace Vicky you earned it.
