Treva A. Dockey, 75, of 159 Minnier Road, Sunbury, died Wednesday evening, Jan. 24, 2018, at Maria Hall Hospice, Danville.
She was born in Northumberland on September 10, 1942, a daughter of the late Mark Lahr and Mary (Stroup) Lahr.
She married the late Larry Dockey on June 10, 1962, who proceeded her in death on June 16, 2006.
Mrs. Dockey was a graduate of Sunbury High School in 1960.
She was formerly employed in Quality Control at Drug Plastics in Elysburg, and in manufacturing at Wilsons, Wilhold, and American Greetings in Sunbury.
Mrs. Dockey was a member of the Mountain Presbyterian Church, 2478 Boyles Run Road, Sunbury, where she served as an elder, financial secretary, Sunday school teacher, and member of the Ladies Aid.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing her accordion, gardening, doing crossword puzzles, and playing games on her laptop.
She is survived by three daughters and two son-in-laws, Tammy A. and Lamar M. Cressinger Jr. of Paxinos, Jean L. Nunez and Arcadio Coronel of Coal Township, Sabrina L. and Jeffrey M. Heddings of Sunbury; one son, Juan R. Dockey of Sunbury; five grandchildren, Matthew Cressinger, Antonio Barrientos, Taylor Heddings, Colton Heddings and Emmanuelle Dockey; one great-grandson, Dalton Cressinger; three sisters, Annette Klinger of Selinsgrove, Naomi Lawrence of Sunbury, and Phyllis Pickering of Homosassa, Florida; and one brother, John Lahr of Sunbury.
A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury.
A second viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, at the Mountain Presbyterian Church at Augustaville, followed by the funeral at 11.
Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
