Events

Todd M. Underkoffler, 60, of Selinsgrove, passed away in his home on Friday, May 10, 2019.
He was born Sept. 1, 1958, in Sunbury, a son of Larry and Judy (Frank) Underkoffler of Sunbury. He was married to the former Juanita Walter for nearly 39 years, who survives.

Todd was a 1976 graduate of Shikellamy High School where he was a multi-sport athlete.

He recently retired from Ad-One Advertising and Design after 29 years.
Todd was a loving family man who adored his grandchildren above everything. He loved the beach, cruising to the islands, Disney World, Penn State, Pittsburgh Steelers, his loyal Yorkshire Terrier, Joe-Paw, and all kinds of adventures. He was a dedicated Penn State usher in Beaver Stadium for the past 13 years, along with Juanita and daughter Amanda. For 10 years, he ran the clock and performed other tasks for the Selinsgrove Area School District athletics.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his father and mother-in-law, Sheldon and Elaine (Wolf) Walter of Port Trevorton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Nathaniel Stark and Amanda and Bryan Mohr, all of Selinsgrove; grandchildren, Lila and Beckett Mohr, and Kendall Stark; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Michael and Karen Underkoffler, Troy Underkoffler, and Greg and Heather Underkoffler; brother-in-law, Sheldon Walter Jr. and his wife Michele; aunt, Sandy Mackert; uncle, Steve Geyer and his wife Kim; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church, 4298 Route 204, Kratzerville, followed by a celebration of life at 11, with the Rev. Rick White officiating.
Attendees are invited to wear their favorite Penn State or tropical beach attire in honor of two of Todd's favorite things.

In lieu of flowers, you can honor Todd's memory by donating in his name to Zion Lutheran Church in Kratzerville or Save-A-Yorkie Rescue at saveayorkierescue.org.

Juanita and family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Although we have only gotten to know each other in recent years at the Penn State games, stopping to say hi to Todd during the pregames was always one of my highlights each game. On behalf of your "extended" family at our tailgate, know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Todd has left an indelible mark on many, and I am a better person for having gotten to know him.

We are in CA with Anna. She was reading on her phone and very sadly told me Beth and Amanda’s father passed away. I told her Elaine and Sheldon are our wonderful neighbors and I worked with Juanita. We send our condolences with hugs filled with caring love.

First I would like to express my sympathy to the loss of this man. My prayers are with you..! My greatest memory was Prom of 1976. Where Todd and I and our dates sat in the courtyard laughing as we would try to imitate Monty Python sketches. The four of us had a great time in conversation and spending the evening together. I will remember Todd because he always made me smile. Rest in Peace my friend..!
