Thomas Willis Davidson, 81, of 270 Ridgecrest Circle, Lewisburg, passed away on Saturday evening, Feb. 25, 2017, at RiverWoods, Lewisburg.
A native of Centre County, he was born Jan. 9, 1936, in Stormstown, a son of the late Forrest and Emma (Ghaner) Davidson. He was married to the former Donna L. Nearhoof and his death breaks a marital union of 62 years.
Thomas was a graduate of State College High School and attended Penn State University and the University of Delaware.
He was a Systems Analyst at American Home Products for 26 years and prior to that had worked at Penn State, Dupont, Honeywell and HRB-Singer.
Tom was a member of St Paul's United Methodist Church of Lewisburg, and a life member of the Elks Club.
He enjoyed traveling by train, plane and cruise ships, golfing, camping, dancing, and was an avid Penn State football fan.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Julie Craig Borska and her husband Elliot, of Santa Monica, Calif.; two sons, Thomas A Davidson and his wife Jill, of Milton, and Bruce Davidson and his wife Patti, of Fogelsville; five grandchildren, Keirstin, Katelyn, Kayla, Nick and Daniel; and three great-grandchildren, Fallon, Jonathan and Joshua.
Friends and relatives will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017, at the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, Market and Eighth streets, Lewisburg, followed by a memorial service at 10, with his pastor, the Rev Judi A. Herrold officiating.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
The family will provide flowers and asks that donations in Thomas' memory be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 42 S. Fourth St., Lewisburg, PA 17837, or to Hospice of Evangelical, 235 Hospital Drive, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
