Susan's Story

Susan M. "Sue" Reaser, 85, of County Line Road, Milton, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, with her family by her side.
She was born Aug. 2, 1931, in Allenwood, a daughter of the late David Watson and Helen M. (Fritz) Foresman. On Jan. 7, 1950, she married Ned L. Reaser and they celebrated 62 years of marriage until his death on Jan. 26, 2012.

Susan was a graduate of Montgomery High School.
She was a homemaker and assisted her husband on their dairy farm.
She was a member of Mazeppa Union Church.
Susan enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening, especially her flowers, but most precious to her were times spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are four daughters, Kathleen A. Swartzlander and her husband Ronald C., of Mifflinburg, Carol J. Brown, of Lewisburg, Mary Ellen Reaser, of Quakertown, and Karen S. Wallize, of Danville; one son, Richard L. "Dick" Reaser and his wife Tammy, of Mifflinburg; seven grandchildren, Kyle (Amber) Swartzlander, of Mifflinburg, Kory (Shelby) Swartzlander and Heather (Dan) Kenamond, all of Lewisburg, Rachel Reaser and her fiancé Zach Kline, and Megan Reaser, all of Mifflinburg, and Brad and Nicole Wallize, both of Danville; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, James Foresman, of Allenwood, Hugh Foresman, of Watsontown, and Richard Foresman, of Muncy; and two sisters-in-law, Nancy Foresman, of Muncy and Marge Foresman, of Mifflinburg.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Chelsey Swartzlander; two sons-in-law, Russ Wallize and Norman D. Brown Jr.; and three brothers, Robert S. Sr., David, and Daniel Foresman.

Friends and family are invited to call from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Brooks Funeral Home, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville, followed by the funeral at 2.
Burial will follow in Uniontown Cemetery, Allenwood.
