Susan A. Long, 75, of Northumberland, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
She was born in Bloomsburg on April 18, 1942, the daughter of the late Franklin T. Henrie and Phyllis Geasey. On Dec. 31, 1958, she married L. Grant "Bud" Long.
Susan was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School. She was formerly employed as a secretary at Geisinger Medical Center.
Surviving are three daughters, Christine Egli and husband Dan, of Allenwood, Kim Pytko and husband William, of Virginia, and Julie Amacher and husband Al, of Northumberland; three granddaughters, Stephanie Scheetz, of Sunbury, Kristin Graham, of Maryland, and Jamie Michau, of Virginia; and one great-grandchild, William Graham, of Maryland.
Our Mom loved her two cats and was an avid animal advocate. She also loved to read and liked to go on outings with her family and friends.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
