Susie Drumm Horton Susie (Gebhardt) Drumm Horton, 71, of Granbury, Texas, passed away on March 7, 2019, from leukemia. She was surrounded by her children, Dustin Drumm and wife Heather, Chris Drumm and wife Samantha, grandchildren, Riley, Jake, Hudson, Benjamin, and Leighton, brother Larry Gebhardt, and her beloved Monty Bunker, along with family and friends.

Susie was born Aug. 27, 1947, in Sunbury, Pa., a daughter of Gene and Mary Gebhardt. For many years, home was Las Cruces, N.M., where she was known as the warm, friendly leader of Gene's Fine Jewelers and Business Products Center. Next, home was an RV, adventuring with Monty and their dogs. At last they settled in Granbury, Texas, where Susie loved the charm of the small town and its people.

Susie will be remembered for her beautiful smile, bright laughter, and incredible hugs. She lived life with joy, faith, gratitude, and grace. She was a mother, a "gammy", a sister, a daughter, a partner, an aunt, and a friend.

A celebration of life will be held at the beach this summer, details to be announced.

Larry Gebhardt & family,
I was so shocked and saddened to read this today. Susie and her mother whwhj
were the only family members I saw in their store in Las Cruces when my husband and I visited there. Gene was home recovering from heart issues and Larry you were on the road filming. I'm so very sorry for us that this lovely, kind, and beautiful women, so beloved by all, is no longer in our midst, but she is much happier, younger, and pain-free with Jesus! May He give you much comfort and peace knowing she is alive and we can all join her and be with her again. Because of the blood of Jesus, he made it possible!

We enjoyed Susie’s generosity and beautiful smile. She will be so missed. She and her mom were so nice to Ken’s wife Jan when Jan was ill.

From Susie's Church Family in Las Cruces, we send our deepest condolences, love, many warm memories, and the beautiful hope we share with Susie, of a joyful reunion at that "feast which has no end."
-- with love, Pastors Christa & Wayne, Trinity Lutheran Church of Las Cruces:

[Revelation 19:6-9] Then I heard... a voice...like the roar of many waters...crying out,
“Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God
the Almighty reigns...
And the angel said to me, “... Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.”
