Steven C. Wray, 61, of Freeburg, beloved father, grandfather, husband, son, brother and friend, entered into eternal rest on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Steven was born Feb. 12, 1956, in Lewistown, a son of Charles and Mary Wray, of Selinsgrove. He was married to the former Bonna Mae Ward who preceded him in death in November of 2010.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, tending to his aquariums, working on his model railroad, and doing his jigsaw puzzles. Steven was a devoted friend to many.
Steven was the devoted father of Steven C. (Lisa) Wray Jr., of New Oxford, Amy M. (Bernie) Hockensmith, of Abbottsown, and Curtis E. (Shandra) Wray, of Freeburg; the loving grandfather of 12, Brian, JJ, Bernie, Logan, Kiley, Brendan, Ricky, Denver, Dominic, Madeline, Marya and William; two sisters, Susan C. (Rick) Harrell, of Elkton, Md., and Melissa W. (Fred Jr.) Killinger of Carlisle; and several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral at 11, with Pastor Jeremy Smallwood officiating.
Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Middlecreek Dam.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made "In Memory of Steven C. Wray Sr." to the Freeburg Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 29, 17 W. Market St., Freeburg, PA 17827.
