Steven Allen "Yogi" Wagner, 63, of McClure, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
He was born June 23, 1954, in Lewistown, a son of the late Edward H. and Elsie (Fleming) Wagner.
Steven was a 1973 graduate of West Snyder High School and attended Penn State University. He was a Spc. E4 in the Lewistown Army National Guard for nearly 23 years.
He was a self-employed produce farmer and enjoyed having a road side stand.
He attended Bible study and prayer meetings at church where he also helped at "The Store House" food bank and "Five Barley Loaves".
Steven loved to hunt and trap, was a self taught herbalist, and was an accomplished water dowser.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen (Attinger) Wagner whom he married on May 25, 1985; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeffrey N. and Sue Wagner, of McAlisterville, and Jerry L. and Joan Wagner, of McClure; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue A. and James Kreamer, of Troxelville, and Wendy L. and Raymond "Skip", of McClure; nieces and nephews, Korrynn, Bethani, Traviss, Emily, Elizabeth, Jedediah, Rebekah, Joseph, Sarah, Hannah, Amanda, Heather and LeaAnna; and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Fredrick, Wanda, and James in infancy; and his only child who was stillborn.
A visitation will be held on March 17, 2018, followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m., with Pastor Dick DeVett, at West End Bible Fellowship, Route 45 West (past main entrance at Laurelton Center in Millmont).
Arrangements are by the Pheasant Funeral Home, Beavertown.
