Shirley Fulmer, 74, of Sunbury, passed away on Feb. 5, 2018, at the Manor at Penn Village.
She was born in Baltimore, Md., a daughter of the late James Hyatt and Geraldine Winkler.
Shirley was a graduate of Parkville High School, Baltimore.
She was employed for many years at Keystone Human Services.
She was a member of St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sunbury.
Shirley enjoyed traveling with her family, reading, tending to her pets, and helping others whenever possible.
She is survived by her children, Kace Fulmer and Kim Fulmer, of Sunbury; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan and Robert Quillen, of Bishopville, Md., and Margaret and Fred Steele, of Auburndale, Fla.; the light-of-her life, her granddaughter, Madelyn R. Fulmer, her mother, Karis L. Boreman, of Reedsville; and her dear friend for more than 50 years, Gloria Black, and her two children, Tamme Bryant and Jeffery Black.
Shirley's wishes were to be laid to rest with her parents at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens in Baltimore. There will be a private service for her family at a later date.
