Shirley Ann Cowher


Shirley Ann Cowher, 58, of Millmont, entered into rest at 12:19 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 9, 1961, in Bellefonte, a daughter of the late William C. and Catherine Martin. She is survived by her adoptive parents, Richard and Shirley Bartlett of Danville.

Sis was a 1981 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.
She was employed in the dietary department of the former Laurelton Center, Harrisburg State Hospital, and finally retiring from the Danville State Hospital.
Sis was a member of the West End Social Club.

Surviving in addition to her adoptive parents, is one daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Aaron Boop of Millmont; two grandchildren, Roman and Reece; three sisters and one-brother-in-law, Grace and Sam Condo of Port Matilda, Betty Frey of Millmont, and Mary Bowes of Howard; and one brother, Charles Martin of State College.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering to celebrate her life from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept 21, at Adamo's, 16 Walnut St., Mifflinburg.

Sis, we shared a lot of great memories over the years. The one i will always remember were at the Spruce Run Inn singing by the jukebox Fishing in the dark plus many more. May you fly high, no more pain. Thanks for being a Friend!
