Sherry D. Baker

Sherry D. Baker, 87, of Milton, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at the Muncy Valley Skilled Nursing Center.
She was born July 15, 1931, in Danville on July 15, 1931, a daughter of the late Freeman and Dorothy (Shires) Ritter. She was married to Charles Baker who survives. Together they have celebrated 50 years of marriage.

Sherry was a 1948 graduate of Danville High School.
She had been employed by Shroyer's Dress Factory.
Sherry was a long-time member of the Milton Boat Club and enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one sister, Donna McKee Brown, whom she raised from age 13 after their mothers passing; brother-in-law, James Brown; sister-in-law, Sandy Minnich; and Sherry's pride and joy, her "grandchildren", Jamie Emery-Seibert, Stacie Moore, Jason McKee, Vanessa Stahlnecker, Alesha Ashe, Ryan Emery, Ashley DeBaro, Alec DeBaro, Emily McKee and Aiden McKee.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra "Sandy" Haas; and brother-in-law, Charles K. McKee Jr.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the care of the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton.
