Shelia Y. Fisher, 61, of Freeburg, passed away Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Dec. 21, 1955, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Mary Joyce (Gessner) Day, of Lewisburg, and the late Harold Day. On March 20, 1982, she married David Fisher who survives. Together they celebrated 35 years of marriage.
Shelia was a 1973 graduate of Lewisburg High School.
She previously worked as a clerk at the former Pennsylvania House, Lewisburg for 34 years. Most recently, Shelia worked for Selinsgrove Dental Arts for 11 years.
Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her mother and husband are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael and Christine Fisher, of Pittsburgh, Jason and Maura Fisher, of Middleburg, and Ryan Fisher, of Mount Pleasant Mills; one sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Galen Reichley, of Winfield; one sister-in-law, Ann Day, of Lewisburg; and four grandchildren, Dylan, Liam, Mason and Colton.
She was predeceased by one brother, Roger Day.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis streets, Lewisburg, followed by the funeral at 11, with Dr. Jim Cope, officiating.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the Evangelical Hospice, 1 Hospital Drive, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
