Sharon Bingaman Ney

June 02, 1941 - September 14, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Bingaman Ney, 77, a life long resident of Sunbury on Sept. 14, 2018.
She was born June 2, 1941, a daughter of the late Joseph and Rebecca Bingaman.

Sharon was a 1957 graduate of Sunbury High School.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, John "Jack Ney; son, Shawn Ney (Brenda Mitchell) of Williamsport; daughter, Andrea Freed of Sunbury; three grandchildren, Jessica Landis, Abby Freed, and Connor Mowry; three great-grandchildren, Grace and Gavin Landis and Brayden Freed; siblings, Kim Bingaman, Dean Bingaman, Alaine Anstine, and Garth Bingaman.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Activity Fund at the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the Mansion.

Arrangements are by the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.

My thoughts are with you all, had the pleasure of taking care of her for a short time at the mansion. She was a truly beautiful soul and loved her laugh. Will never forget how she loved her lipstick!!
