Ruth M. Yetter, 92, formerly of Middleburg, passed away on Monday evening, Feb. 12, 2018, at RiverWoods, Lewisburg.
She was born July 20, 1925, in McClure, a daughter of the late George and Esther (Knepp) Renninger. On Feb. 15, 1946, she married John A. Yetter who preceded her in death on May 15, 2005.
Ruth retired in 1980 from the Selinsgrove Center where she had worked in food service.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Ruth enjoyed cooking, baking and canning.
She is survived by two daughters, Dianne L. Sheesley, of Mifflinburg and Sharon E. Krahel, of Middleburg; four grandchildren, Melinda Krahel, Jodi Bremigen, Richard Krahel, and Angie Thompson; seven great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Jarrett, Zacary, Zyllah, Riley, Ansleigh, and Chase; one great-great-granddaughter, Kaya; and three sisters, Gail Dillman of Selinsgrove, Nancy Folk of McClure and Judy Renninger of Middleburg.
She was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Leon Sheesley; and Sharon's companion, Jerry Moyer; two brothers, Donald and Harold Renninger; and two sisters, Betty Shawver and Arlene Wray.
Visitors will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg, followed by the funeral at 2 with Pastor George Price officiating.
Burial will be in Paxtonville Cemetery.
