Ruth Ann Heimbach, 70, of Milton, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at her home.
She was born Sept. 23, 1947, in Milton, a daughter of the late Orval and Cora (Stevenson) Neitz. She was married to George "Max" Heimbach Jr. for 27 years until his death in 2006.
Ruth retired from Con Agra in 2014. She loved camping, especially at Ricketts Glen and R. B. Winter State Parks, yard sales, shopping and dancing.
She is survived by three sons and their wives, Charles and Kim Stine, of Danville, Steve and Anita Hepler, of New Jersey, and Carl and Ivonne Hepler, of Northumberland; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Martin Neitz, of Danville; and five sisters Emma Showers, of Oregon, Lorena Showers, of Danville, Lennie Hauck, of Millville, Connie Young, of Benton, and Thelma Morris, of Danville.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Sandra Swanger; and four brothers, Fred, Harry, Carl, and Robert Neitz.
Friends and relatives will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton, followed by the funeral at 11, with the Rev. Ken Paulhamus officiating.
Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
