Ross S. Dopp, 76, of Turbotville, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at his home.
He was born May 30, 1940, in Huntington County, a son of the late William C. and Lena H. (Wilson) Dopp. On Aug. 7, 1965, he married the former Arlene C. Walter and they have celebrated 51 years of marriage.
Ross graduated from Juniata Valley High School and Lock Haven University.
He retired in 2004 from the Warrior Run School District where he taught Driver's Education and P.E. for 42 years. Earlier in his career, Ross coached football and track and field.
He was formerly an active member of PSEA and Warrior Run Education Association.
Ross enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and was an avid Penn State Football fan.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter and her husband, Amy C. and Alexis Moore Sr., of Turbotville; and four stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, William and John Dopp.
In keeping with his wishes, services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville.
