Rose's Story

Rose L. Wilson, 92, formerly of Mifflinburg, entered into rest on Monday afternoon, Dec. 12, 2016, at the Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
She was born Sept. 2, 1924, in Weikert, a daughter of the late James D. and Bertha (Goodlander) Bilger. On July 1, 1942, she married Robert F. Wilson who preceded her in death on April 30, 1991.

Rose was a 1942 graduate of Laurelton High School.
She was employed as an attendant at the Laurelton Center for 15 years, and later at American Home Foods, Milton, for more than 20 years.
Rose was a lifelong member of the Mifflinburg Church of the Nazarene.
She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Larry J. and Carol F. Wilson, of Millmont; one daughter, Linda S. Wilson, of Millmont; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Becky, Angie, Pam, Kathy, Mark, and Rodney; 10 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, L. Jean Kline; one great-granddaughter, Brittany Mook; two brothers, Robert and James Bilger; and six sisters, May Bilger, Leona Kendall, Martha Showers, Maude Callenberger, Helen Showers, and Doris Swinehart.

Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
