Ronald C. Zimmmerman, 72, of Sunbury, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 30, 1945, in Sunbury, a son of the late Chester and Adelaide (London) Zimmeman.
He was married to the former Jacqueline Konyar who preceded him in 2016.
Ronald was employed as a truck driver for various local trucking companies.
He was a member of the Sunbury Moose and the Sunbury Eagles.
Ronald enjoyed playing cards.
He is survived by three children, Kim Adams and her husband, Ronald, of Herndon, Chris Zimmerman and his wife, Barbara, of Northumberland, and Christine Liddington, of Selinsgrove; three grandchildren; Joshua, Carl and John; one sister, Shirley Lytle, of Colorado; and one brother, Jerry Zimmerman, of Sunbury.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, followed by a memorial service at 8.
