Robert W. "Bob" Yost, 84, of 819 St. Paul St., Lewisburg, passed away Friday, Dec. 1, 2017.

He was born March 12, 1933, in Lewisburg, a son of the late Robert M. and Anna (Walter) Yost. On Dec. 22, 1954, he married the former Grace Wagner who survives. Together they celebrated 62 years of marriage.

Bob was a 1951 graduate of Lewisburg High School. He served with the 25th Infantry Tropic Lighting during the Korean War and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. Bob retired from Pennsylvania House, Lewisburg, where he worked as a superintendant and finishing coordinator for 44 years.

He was a member of the United in Christ Lutheran Church, Lewisburg, and a member and Past Master of the Charity Lodge No. 144 F & AM, Lewisburg.

In his spare time Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving in addition to his wife are one son and daughter-in-law, John and Vicki Yost, of Lewisburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and David Baker, of Lewisburg; one brother, C. Richard Yost, of Florida; one sister and brother-in-law, Kaye and Robert Berger, of Lewisburg; four grandchildren, Kelsey (Brandon) Imler, Austin Yost, Zachary Baker and Jordan (Kathy) Baker; and one great-grandson, Tobias Baker.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis streets, Lewisburg, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with his pastor, the Rev. Justin G. Lingenfelter, officiating.

A Masonic service will be held at 9:45 a.m. Monday prior to the visitation.

Burial with full military honors will be held privately in the Lewisburg Cemetery.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to either the United in Christ Lutheran Church, 1875 Churches Road, Lewisburg, PA 17837 or to a charity of one's choice.
