Robert J. Troutman, 88, of Milton, entered into rest at 11:12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at Watsontown Health and Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness.
He was born June 14, 1929, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Robert J. and Margaret (Heidler) Troutman. On Aug. 22, 1958, he married Barbara Ann Weller who passed away on March 31, 2017.
Bob was an Army veteran serving from 1947 to 1949.
He was a member of the 40/8 Club.
Bob enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, and fishing. He loved to spend time with his family.
Surviving are five daughters and sons-in-law, Gayle Thomas, of Milton, Donna and Steven Rider, of Milton, Frances and Grover Mixell, of Jessup, Ga., Brenda and Randy Evans, of Twin City, Ga., Karen And Gene Warren, of Fayetteville; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Debby Troutman Jr., of New Columbia; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Judith Knowles, of Lewisburg, and Edna Miller, of Enola; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Steven Rider; one great-grandson, Nicholas Divirgilio; and two brothers, Edward Snyder and Bill Snyder; and one sister, Mary Rearick.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Adamo's, 16 Walnut St., Mifflinburg, followed by the funeral at 1, with Pastor James River officiating.
Interment will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
