Robert L. Kilgus Sr., 79, of State Route 54, Watsontown, passed away Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at his home.
Bob was born April 8, 1938, in Delaware Township, Northumberland County, the son of the late Nile "Spike" D. and Mary E. (Kurtz) Kilgus.
He was a 1956 graduate of Watsontown High School and had owned and operated Bob Kilgus Garage in Williamsport for more than 30 years.
Bob was a veteran of the Army Reserves, and was a member of the Williamsport American Legion Post 1 and the 40 & 8. He was a former member of the Montgomery American Legion, a life member of the Milton Moose Lodge, and a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Watsontown.
He enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, motorcycles, and traveling to Virginia to visit family. Bob loved his Buick cars.
Surviving are three sons, Robert L. Jr. and his wife Susan Kilgus, of Muncy, Kevin L. and his wife Vickie Kilgus, and Kent D. and his wife Melissa Kilgus, and a daughter, Brenda L. Baylor and her husband William, all of Watsontown; eight grandchildren, Kelly, Julie, Amanda, Ryan, Mariah, and Maris Kilgus, Jessica Baylor and Melissa Welker and her husband Chris; three great-grandchildren, Lillian, Matthew, and William Welker; and a brother, Richard "Dick" D. Kilgus and his wife Nancy, of Watsontown. Bob is also survived by his long-time companion, Peggy Snook.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation at 10 a.m., with a memorial service starting at 11a.m. Friday, Jan. 19 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 6590 Musser Lane, Watsontown, with his pastor, Rev. Faron Johnson officiating.
Burial will be held privately at the family's convenience.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brooks Funeral Home, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville.
