Robert V. Guinter


Robert V. Guinter, 70, of Birch Street, Shamokin, passed away on July 8, 2019, at his home.
He was born June 1, 1949, in Penns Creek, a son of the late Bruce D. (Whitey) and Pauline (Neitz) Guinter. On June 1, 1998, he married the former Sharyn Ebright who survives.

Robert attended schools in Middleburg.
He retired from the Sun-Re Cheese Co., Sunbury.
He was a member of Sunbury Steam Company No. 1.
Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Sharyn; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Stacy Guinter of Mount Pleasant Mills, and Donald and Sandy Kizer of Milton; two daughters and son-in-law, Donna and Aaron Shultz of Sunbury, and Dawn Dewald of Philadelphia; one brother, Samuel Guinter of Lewisburg; one sister, Paulette Mapes of Florida; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be announced at a later date

The family is being assisted by the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton.

Sorry to hear about Bob always liked him.Even when I was no longer in the family I always asks how he was doing. My prays are with you at this time. May God wrap you in love knowing Bob is in his loving care and looking down on you.
